    Course description

    Nearly 300 years ago, George Frederic Handel created a masterpiece, the Messiah. We will have engaging discussions about the Baroque Era, other well-known pieces that Handel composed, and of course, the famous “Hallelujah Chorus” from the Messiah. There will be guided listening and historical exploration. This course is held in time for Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra’s performance of Handel’s Messiah on December 17th at Celebration Community Presbyterian Church, 511 Celebration Avenue at 7:00 PM.
