Jane Wahl has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Florida. She earned a Six Sigma Black Belt, CPCU, CLU, and other designations throughout her career in the insurance industry. In addition to traditional insurance roles, she was a Process Manager, working to streamline operations and enhance quality, and training others to do the same. She is a native Floridian who enjoys tennis and is a big fan of the state’s beautiful weather and outstanding scenery.

Florida has a long and interesting history, known for its explorers, entrepreneurs, engineers, and even a few famous animals. The story of our state can be seen in a variety of scenes, from fortresses to state parks, and even some abandoned structures and projects. This course will explore some of the natural and man-made highlights that have marked the years and the progress of Florida. We will take a look at places, characters, and scenery that make our state unique.
