Program Policies

The Board of Directors of Celebration Lifelong Learning, Inc. (CLL, Inc.) has adopted and will implement the following policies.

Refund Policy

Registered members who need to drop a course may request a refund up to one week (7 days) before the course begins. Course fees are not refundable once the course has started. Term membership and material fees are non-refundable. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Program Director.

Membership and courses are not transferable.

Course Cancellations

On occasion, we need to reschedule or cancel an entire course. In this event, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to sign up for another course in the same term.

Photography and Video Notice

From time to time, CLL, Inc. photographs or records video and audio during classes, lectures, events, and other program activities. These photographs and recordings may be used by CLL, Inc. for educational, promotional, marketing, fundraising, and other nonprofit purposes, including on CLL, Inc.’s website, social media channels, printed materials, newsletters, and other communications.

By registering for membership or participating in CLL, Inc. programs and events, you acknowledge that photography and recording may occur and grant CLL, Inc. permission to use your likeness, image, voice, and appearance in such photographs, videos, and recordings without compensation. You also grant CLL, Inc. the right to edit, reproduce, publish, distribute, and display these materials for the purposes described above.

If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please notify a CLL, Inc. staff member or volunteer before the event. While CLL, Inc. will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests, it cannot guarantee that individuals will not appear incidentally in photographs or recordings taken in public event spaces.

Agreement by Course Instructors & Lecturers

Celebration Lifelong Learning, Inc. course instructors, lecturers and club facilitators have agreed not to advertise or promote any product or service in which they are involved.

Volunteer Safety and Participant Protection Agreement

All Celebration Lifelong Learning, Inc. volunteers including board members, instructors, Welcome Desk and Tech Team members have reviewed and signed their agreement to the following:

  • Treat every participant with dignity, respect, patience, and courtesy.
  • Help maintain an environment that is physically and emotionally safe, free from harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or abuse.
  • Respect the privacy and confidentiality of participants and refrain from sharing personal or sensitive information except as required to perform my volunteer duties or as required by law.
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with participants and avoid conduct that could be perceived as exploitative, coercive, or inappropriate.
  • Follow all CLL policies, procedures, and instructions provided by staff.
  • Immediately report to CLL staff any accident, injury, medical emergency, unsafe condition, suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, or other concern involving the safety or well-being of a participant.
  • Never administer medications, provide medical advice, perform medical procedures, or transport participants unless specifically authorized by CLL.
  • Refrain from accepting significant gifts, soliciting money, or engaging in financial transactions with participants.
  • Conduct myself in a manner that reflects positively on CLL and supports its mission.
